This means that any medical condition that occurred during the five years prior to the inception of your Freedom private medical cover plan will be excluded for the first two years your policy is in force. Private medical cover excluded by the Moratorium may be re-instated later if the medical condition has not recurred for a continuous period of two years since the date it was last treated. Please refer to underwriting for a full explanation.

Full medical underwriting (FMU) policies are available upon request. Please refer to our health insurance underwriting for a full explanation.

This health insurance plan is designed to give benefits for medical treatment either privately in the UK, abroad or using the NHS. Any savings arising from private medical treatment or free treatment on the NHS can be kept by you.
