The whole thought of taking a whole day off or half day at the very least to attend a doctor’s appointment is just so off-putting that I haven’t had the time or inclination to do so in the last 5 years. When I heard about your service I immediately booked up as it sounded so simple and easy. The actual experience was much better than we could have expected. After a full consultation ranging from 45-60 minutes (not the 10 you get from the local health centre) all our team came away with a detailed explanation of their current state of health. Today I went for a health screening, which was carried out by Screenetics. Not having had such a test before I have to say I was worried about what was going to be involved, let alone what the results might be! I shouldn’t have worried! It really was a doddle. They took blood with a small prick of the finger, gave me a blood pressure test and made me stand barefooted on a set of scales – that was the limit of it. With this they were able to give me data about my cholesterol levels, liver function, risk of diabetes, the state of my prostate, plus others.They took the time to carefully explain what they were doing, what the results meant, what the implications were and what could be done to improve. This was the first time I’d been told that improving muscle mass would help lose weight, and why. Also why drinking more fluid would help lose weight and improve concentration. All in all it was a very positive experience and I came out inspired to actually do something to improve my health. I will certainly make this an annual exercise, if for no other reason than to get my metabolic age below my actual age!

I introduced my grown-up daughter to Screenetics around October 2008; she had been living with very bad digestive and stomach pain for over 20 years. The GP had explained it away with a misdiagnosis of IBS all that time. From the start, we knew we were in the hands of professionals; it wasn't just the diagnostic session that was so beneficial, but the manner in which Screenetics conducted themselves. The staff were friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. The results were easy to understand (as compared with much of the information given to us previously!). Your staff offered plenty of 'signposting' in terms of information and new approaches we could possibly explore; he suggested that my daughter be tested for 'H-Pylori' - a nasty stomach bug that few are aware of... and she tested positive. Finally, after all these years, at least we knew what we were dealing with! Screenetics showed us some complementary health-based solutions, plus gave some recommendations for local practitioners and specialists. My daughter is now on a new food and vitamin diet that has transformed her life, thanks to these suggestions. I can honestly say we've had our eyes opened in dealing with Screenetics - I recommend that anyone who is values their well-being make an appointment to see these guys.
